Dad's birthday continued.

So here he is. Dad's big surprise was Uncle Vance coming over for his bday. It's no secret that Dad is very anti social and didn't want to have a big 30th. So Mum thought about it and figured that Dad would just like to hang out with his best mate, jam on the gat, eat kfc and have a smoke. So that's exactly what she organised. We've all been carrying on this lie for months and dad had no idea. He was shocked when he opened his eyes and saw Uncle Vance standing in our house. We were all nervous because Uncle didn't get his passport til the last minute. And we never thought he'd make it past the sniffer dogs. But at the end of the day it was all goodies. They're all having a boys weekend and cruising down the coast to hit the theme parks.Mum had even (sly one) applied for annual leave for Dad that he didn't know about. So even his boss was in on it. So anways no more blackmails from Veek and no more lying for Mum.
In other whanau news Uncle Hector got stabbed last saturday at his 22nd birthday party. He was in a coma and had to have surgery. But were pleased to let everyone know that he's out of ICU now and is expected to make a full recovery. He'll be in hospital for ages though. But we're glad that he's all good.

Dad's birthday

It's Dad's birthday om monday the 26th but we've been amping him up for months now about his present. So far all the clues he has is that it's big and it'll be delivered on thursday. 1 day to go and the suspense is killing him. He thinks it' a drum kit or a motorbike. We've told him it's not but he doesn't believe us. The other day he tried to bribe Veek into telling him what it was. Veek stayed strong but later blackmailed Mum into getting the money anyways. He reckons "gimme $5 or I'm gonna tell Dad what it is". Mum can't wait for it all to be over. Veek's costing a fortune with his daily sly antics. Happy Mother's Day

This weekend just gone was mother's day weekend. Unfortunately Mum had to work on saturday:(:( After work we went to Wynnum to pick up miss Mya. We babysat her for the night while Aunty Lynda May went to Enid's 21st. Lennox loved having someone smaller to boss around. After bath time Lennox dressed up as a power ranger. We thought it was cute but Mya was scared of him.

Mya had a big cry but then Lennox took off the mask and she was laughing again.

On Sunday we dropped Mya off to her mama and headed to the Gold Coast. Mum wanted emu oil for her mother's day prezzy so we went to cararra market to look for some. We found it and we also came across some yummy island food. Mmmmm heart attack in a bowl.

Eating that food was the highlight of Mum's day lol. After the markets we headed home to watch the footy.

This friday we are supposed to be going to watch the bulldogs vs titans game. 10 more days till Dad's surprise. Watch this spot.......

Long time no blog

Well what's been happening over here??

Veek had his hospital appointment on May the 1st(Chloe's birthday) to see if he was all clear to play league again. Unfortunately he is out for THE WHOLE SEASON!! The doctor said he had a 50/50 chance of hurting himself again so he didn't advise Veek to play for 10-12 weeks. Which is the season so yeah no more footy.

Veek had cross country at school and was really disappointed when he came 7th. I thought that was a good effort out of all the school, but Veek sets high standards for himself when it comes to sports........if yall hadn't alrady noticed lol.

Lennox started daycare on May the7th. His "school" is called King of the Castle and he goes there wednesdays and thursdays. Dad's loving it cause he get to have a nice break from both boys. Mum on the other hand gets to pack2 bags now and make 2 lunches grrr. And they're both home when mum's home everyday!! Anywho, Lennox loves it and he made mum the bestest mothers day card.

Lennox is a champ!! He's finally gonna make some lil friends of his own. And of course he doesn't scream or do any of the nasty things that he normally does when he's there. The teacher said he's an angel lol. The teachers were shocked to know that he's never been to daycare or any type of playgroup. They asked him what things did he think he was good at so they could slot him into an appropriate learning group and he said,"playstation, xbox and guitar hero". Another kid laughed and said" no silly what do you read or can you count?" And he reckons,"well can you download games off the net? I can! And the numbers for cartoon network on foxtel is 713". So then I copped a lecture from the teacher about the dangers of the internet lol.

Not much other news........hmmm..........no I think that's it. Stay tuned for hot pics of Nana Diane on the weekend at her ball. And last but not least GO THE KIWIS!! We beat them 100 years ago on this day and we can do it again.............well we better win cause Mum and Dad have got lots of money on it.
