December bdays

Here we go whanau. Last month of 2008. Here's who's celebrating this month.

What else have we been up to?? Lennox had his xmas party on the weekend. He got to meet santa and got a prezzy from him. He got a book from santa then called santa a liar because he wanted a chocolate and santa should have known that lol. But then he came to the conclusion that he must've been naughty and that's why he didn't get what he wanted.

Veek managed to score nearly $500 for his bday!! He bought a psp and some games. Not sure what he's gonna do with the rest of his cash yet. He's been refusing all attempts for me to take photos of him lately so here's an old one instead.

Mum has been doing the same old stuff. Mum's friend Tarnz had her 40th on the weekend. We all wore matching naughty 40 singlets. Here's a few pics....

This weekend was pretty full on. On friday Veek went to Koro Hector's place because he was taking him fishing. Veek caught 3 fish. No pics though cause Veek forgot the camera.
On saturday Mum, Dad and Lennox went bowling. Lennox won the first game. Then Dad won the second game. Mum was the best at playing the arcade games afterwards lol. Again no pics as we thought Veek had the camera.
After bowling Lennox went shopping with Dad and got 2 new power ranger dvd's. This was supposed to be purchased outta Lennox's bday money but somehow he conned Dad into paying for them.
On Sunday Mum had her work xmas party. Hooray all the fundraising is over!! It's hard to hussle cash outta tight ass people. Anyways the party was a huge success. Lots of mean food and heaps of fun for Lennox running around with the kids and swimming all day. Lennox paticipated in the under 10's running race and came 2nd. Too good aye. Even smoked some big kids. Veek turned up to the party at 3pm and him and bubba kept swimming till 5. When we got home they crashed out hard and Mum got to have the night off from cooking. Yay.
Anyways that was our weekend. Back to the daily grind again. Looking forward to this weekend. Lennox has a bday party to go to, it's tuwharetoa day on saturday so we're gonna get our feed on then off to the footy semi finals of the world cup on saturday night.

Lennox's bday & November bdays

On Thursday our boi Lennox turned the big 5. Nana Kim came over and had dinner and cake with us. YummyOn Saturday we had a kids party at home. Lennox invited 4 friends from daycare, 2 friends from footy, all his cuzzies, Kin's kids, Katrina's kids, Melly's son and Aunty Christina's brother Que. Plus heaps of adults too. Mum was very busy making all the food. We had party pies, sausage rolls, cheerios, chop suey, potato salad, fried bread, seafood mornay and a gangsta bbq. Not to mention craploads of chippies and lollies. The theme for the party was supposed to be halloween but the kids just rocked up as super heroes mostly. Lennox was a blue power ranger, there were 3 spidermen, fairies, princesses and a pirate. We were supposed to play games but we ended up just playing pass the parcel because the kids all went outside and played on the tramp instead. All Lennox's cuzzies on his dad's side were there except for Alex. Here they are......

In other news Mum went to Stevie Wonder last saturday night. That was an awesome as concert. Here's a pic of us at the bar.

Then on Wednesday Mum went to watch Snoop Dogg, Bone Thugs and Westside Connection. Even better night. So many great songs from my prime years when I thought I was a gangsta lol.

Stuff

Veek started his touch season last night. His team won 3-2 and he scored 2 tries. Dad waggedmahi to watch him play and he was very impressed. He's also started an after school sports program on wednesdays. On top of all that he has an assignment on frogs so that is keeping him busy too. And of course the obvious which is annoying Lennox which is a full time job all by itself.

Lennox is busy organising his own party. Apparantly Mum and Dad aren't allowed to know anything because it's a secret. He's drawn his invitations and reckons he's got it all sorted. On a serious note we are still having a halloween party at home but we're gonna let him think he created everything.

Mum has been busy fundraising for the xmas party. She organised a social on the weekend and it was very successful. Now that the social is outta the way we have more choccies to sell. Mum has had some time off mahi cause this clown at work run her foot over with a pallet jack then hit her again and dropped heaps of stuff on her. Poor mum:(

Dad is enjoying his new job. He still hasn't bought a new car but we might get one before xmas.

And last but not least good luck to Hapu who is due to have baby Jack any day now. Let us know when he arrives Hapu.

Very good school holidays so far. Both boys have been attending King of the castle daycare on wednesdays and thursdays. So far Veek has been to the movies, south bank and chandler pools. Lennox hasn't been to the excursions as he is in the pre school group who has to stay behind:( Next year he'll be up there with the big kids.

Here's a pic of Lennox on a ride at the school fete. While this ride was in full swing Lennox stood up to wave at Mum and Dad and Mum nearly s*%t her daks. Then the rude attendant had the cheek to tell us we need to control our son better. OMG some people!!

Mum had her bday at the XXXX brewery on saturday. It was an excellent night.........apparantly. Mum has sketchy memories at best lol

Lennox is planning his bday already. He's having a halloween party on the 1st of november. He's thinking of dressing up as power ranger or a space ranger. We aren't sure what a space ranger is so hopefully we can find a power ranger outfit. Veek and dad are too cool to dress up but Mum is gonna be something awesome. Not sure what yet??

School holidays again

Once again it's school holiday time. Veek will be attending Lennox's daycare 3 days a week during the holidays. He used to go to his own vacation care at his school, but carindale PCYC bought it and now we have to drive all the way there if he's gonna attend that one. Carindale is about 15 minutes away and Mum and Dad can't be bothered driving that far in peak hour traffic to drop him off and pick him up. Lennox is excited to have his brother at his daycare. Veek isn't impressed but once he's sees that there's other school aged children there we're sure he'll like it.
Today we went to the Brisbane museum and science centre. That was so cool. Heaps of interactive things to do and lots of interesting stuff to see and learn about. We caught the bus there cause we didn't wanna pay for parking. The bus cost $22 return and there was lots of smelly people on it. Next time we go to southbank we will pay the $15 parking fee just so we can have air con and no smelly people with us. It was 33 degrees today so I don't really blame some peeps for being extra smellier then usual.
It's Mums bday next weekend. Yay!! She's doing the XXXX brewery tour, then dinner at a local thai restaurant, then watch the warriors in the semi finals, then drink at her friend Melly's, then go clubbing. Should be a great night.

What else is the news??? Uncle Pat, Lisa and Tait arrived on Sunday. They've come over for Uncle Ene's 21st. We're most probably gonna do some tourist activities with them while they're here but we have to wait till the weekend. No more MDO's for Mum and Veek.
Lennox has learnt to write his name this week. He's quite excited about that. He's also learnt his phone number and address too.
Veek's also been on a roll at kura. He scored top marks in his assignment on Mexico so now Dad has to reward him.
We've been looking for some summer sports for the boys. Veek wants to do trampolining so we're looking for a club close to home and bubba wants to play playstation, so we're working on that. Maybe we could get him a wii fit for his bday, lil game freak.
Dad's been looking for another job and is still looking for a new car. Until then he'll keep on keeping on at Inghams and will rock the mangi mobile till it blows up lol.
Mum's a big fatty who needs to check herself and get in shape for summer. Nan and Aunty Polly are very encouraging but Mum needs more willpower.
