Well it's been ages since we blogged. So here's what's been going on in our neck of the woods.

The boys arrived home from Perth on the 19th. Mum was so excited to get to the airport and she ran outta the house and forgot the car keys. So she had to borrow a ladder from the neighbours and climb in the window to get the keys. By the time she did all that she was late getting on the motorway and there was traffic everywhere. When she got to the airport the boys weren't at the gate so Mum had to run around looking for them. They were at the customer service desk waiting. Finally after signing some paper work Mum took the boys home. Only Lennox was happy to see Mum. Veek's a cool guy who reckons he doesn't need parents lol.

This week we have been getting ready for school. The boys got new uniforms, lunch boxes, shoes and all their books. We only need to get Lennox a library bag then we're sussed. School starts on tuesday 27th of jan and the boys can't wait. Lennox will be in prep and Veek will be in grade 5.

Aunty Raewyn arrived on friday. She's moving back home to vegas and stopped in for a visit on the way. Here's a pic of her and the boys at Uncle Ene's. We all had sunday lunch together then played world tour all day. We had quite a good family band. Our most sucessful song was Lenny Kravitz Are you gonna go my way. We meanly rocked that one. Aunty Rae didn't play but she did laugh at us for a few hours.

Tomorrow is Australia day so we all get the day off. Yay!!! We will probably hang out with Aunty Lynda May and Mya and go for a swim.

Perth Holiday continued

Today Lennox and Nan drove to Kalgoorlie ( I think that's how you spell it). It took them 9 hours cause they had a "Nan" trip and stopped lots on the way. Lennox is happy that there's a cat called Bubu at Aunty Shona's house. They also have foxtel which is great cause Lennox has been deprived of tv lately lol. No pics yet but we're hoping Nan will send us some of their adventures.

Veek stayed behind with Hapu and her family. Him and Kelly have been building huts out of mattresses, blankets and pegs. They even slept in their hut. Apparantly Veek is very good with baby Jack and likes to help Hapu out. Phoenix has taken a liking to Veek also, following him around everywhere and tryna scab in on his hut lol. Wish Veek was more patient with his own sibling. Maybe he'll come back a changed boy......... Veek and Phoenix Veek and Kelly. FYI Veek is only 3 days older then Kelly

In Brizzy Mum and Dad have been laxing out. Today is Loy's funeral so we will be heading off to that at 1 pm. More updates to come.

Stitches

On friday my baby was playing hide and seek and hid under the bed. He went to get up and whacked his head, resulting in 6 stitches and many hours in hospital. And to think people laughed at Mum for packing their medicare card...... Anyways here he is my brave lil soldier Mum's friend Loy lost her battle with cancer on friday night. We will always remember Loy and her kind heart and generous nature. R.I.P Loy

Perth Holiday

Since boxing day the boys have been in Perth having a holiday. So far they have been to the movies twice and to the beach a few times too. Nan has a few more tricks up her sleeve to keep the boys occupied. They have also been to stay with Aunty Treez for a few nights as well.The boys went to the meeting too on sunday. Lennox said it "took long". Veek had no comment because he hasn't spoken to Mum for about 5 days. He's way too cool to miss Mum and Dad.

Mum misses them heaps but is sure that Perth is way more fun then staying home.

17th- Uncle Mike and Aunty Hario are getting hitched

18th- Aunty Chrissy's bday and Angela Taiaroa is getting married

19th- or there abouts, the boys are coming home

22nd- Miss Daynah's birthday

26th- Australia Day and Chloe's Nana Meg's bday

27th- Big man Lennox starts his prep year at "big school"

28th- Babylon-Ezra turns 2.

30th- Koro Hectors bday and Mum and Dad go to Raggamuffin concert

31st- Uncle Pat's birthday

Yesterday we had a low key xmas munch at Uncle Ene's and Aunty Kylie's. Then while they rested their puku's Mum took Lennox and Veek for a swim. No pics of the whole day as the camera batteries were flat. The boys got some choice prezzies and some cash for their holiday.
Today my boys flew out for their exciting holiday in Perth. This is their first time flying alone but thry were very excited. Mum started crying at the airport and then the boys did. They were punching each other one minute then holding hands walking towards the plane crying the next. Mum's ok now but it is very quiet in our whare.......

Guess who came to our house today??

Today Uncle Justin and Deacon came to visit on their way from Perth to Wellington. Deacon is so cute. He wasn't shy at all and made himself at home straight away. He got very excited when we went to pick the boys up from school.These were the best pics we could get of him cause he slept all the way from Perth and he had a lot of energy when he got to Brizzy. It was hard enough getting these photos.

December stuff

Well we haven't been doing much lately cause it's too friggin hot. 35 degrees = stay home under the fan.

But anyways Aunty Christina arrived this morning. She's gonna be living in Brizzy now with her Mum in Ipswich. It's mega hot there. They will probably be moving closer to our place in the next month or so. It was the last day of school on friday. Veek is very excited about the holidays as the boys will be going to Nan's on boxing day for a few weeks. The boys are counting down to that, more then xmas!! Xmas is gonna be a low key affair this year. Soooo poor lol.

We went to visit Loy the other day. She has lost all her hair from the radiation treatment but she is still in high spirits. Fingers crossed she makes it to xmas. That's her personal goal cause she's bought a big massive xmas tree and has decked her house out with all the xmas lights ever. She's at home on the weekend then back to hospital monday to friday. Mum has lost 2.4 kilos so far doing the shred workout. No dieting yet just strictly excercising. Got a bit more work to do yet.
