Update 06/07

Just a little update on what we've been doing this week. Nivek played Centenary on sunday and he won 36-26. He scored 1 try and it was so mean.......he ran nearly the entire length of the field and outstepped, outran or just plain bowled over everyone in the other team!! Awesome stuff but he was so tired that he had to sub straight off and rest lol.
Lennox went to work with dad on friday so that was exciting. Even though he was only there to swap from dad to mum he still packed his lunch box for his 'smoko' just like dad. When we got home he flopped on the couch all tired and Uncle Ene said,"what's wrong Lennox?" Lennox replied,"Uncle I'm tired I just got home from work". We all cracked up the thought that he was tired after a 20 minute round trip to and from inghams.
We are trying to convince dad to let Nivek go to Perth for the next school holidays. Mum and Nan are working on it.
All the adults in our house have been doing lots of overtime trying to crack that cash before xmas rolls around. This year we'll have 3 more babies to buy for!! Busy little family we have aye lol.
Well that's all my news. We'll try to take some pics next time. School holidays next week so surely there will be something to take pics of.

Crackerjack Carnival

This weekend we went to the crackerjack carnival. On Saturday Veeky had to march in a parade with his footy team through the carnival. Silly Mum forgot the camera so we don't have any pics of that:(

On Sunday we went back there after Veeky's footy game and we remembered the camera this time yay. We all went on the ferris wheel, which was cool cause we could see everyone from up the top. Veeky kept rocking the cage and Mum was freaking out.

Lennox had a ride on a pony or "little horse" lol. The ponys name was Motley but Lennox thought he should be called Jack. Lennox liked that and was sad when his turn was finished.

In other news Veeky played the South Magpies today and thrashed them 58-34. Veeky got 2 tries agan this week and injured 3 players. 2 of which were carried from the field:( Veeky didn't feel sad about that but Mum did. Overall Veek played an awesome game and we were proud of him as usual.

Our busy week

We have been on a mission this week trying to fundraise for Nivek's trip to disneyland in october. Mum has been selling raffles at work and our whole household has been selling cadbury chocolate. You can get a $2 bars of either dairy milk, crunchie, caramello, fruit and nut or top deck. Or for $1 you can get freddo frogs, caramello koalas or white freddos. We also got some natural confectionary snakes and dinosaurs for $2 as well. All up we have 22 boxes to sell and we've started off well selling just about half since friday arvo. I was gonna post pics of the choccies but Lennox has misplaced the camera. So no pics for this whole interesting blog lol.

In other Lennox news he is just about over the chicken pox with only a few non contagious spots left. So that's o for orsum cause we were getting sick of being housebound with him.

Aunty Shona and Lindsay flew in on saturday morning and that was o for orsum too. Unfortunately they only stayed 3 nights as Uncle Justin is having a baby any day now so they had to get back to NZ to see him. More news on that tomorrow because I'm pretty sure the baby is born but I haven't got actual confirmation just yet.

Our washing machine died in the arse on the weekend so we got a new one today. Yay mum says cause the laundromat is overpriced.

Nivek played the Capalaba Warriors on sunday and beat them 26-24. Very close game and Veeky injured 2 kids but we're not that surprised! Too good that future all black.

More baby news tomorrow hopefully.

Poor Lennox!

My poor baby has finally got the chicken pox. Lennox isn't coping as well as Veeky did. He is very feverous and hasn't eaten all day. We tried to bribe him with Mc Donalds but he wasn't budging. He just has apple juice and that's it. He just sleeps mostly and sometimes gets up to watch a bit of cartoons then back off to sleep. He has a doctors appointment tomorrow so we'll update then.

Day at the beach

Today we went to the beach but mum forgot the camera so we having no pics :( . We dug a really big hole and Lennox got in it and we filled it back in. He was covered up to his waist and it was really funny. Sooooo should've had the camera. Veeky caught 3 jellyfish and chased Lennox around with them. That was pretty funny too.
There was a couple on the pier having wedding photos taken. Lennox thought she looked pretty and decided that he wants a girlfriend lol.
On the way home we stopped and got ice cream. That was mum's favourite part of the day cause it's all about the food lol.
I'm not sure what we're doing tomorrow . It's labour day here and mum doesn't wanna sit around and waste it so we'll probably go on another mission somewhere.

Happy Birthday Chloe

Today was Chloe's 7th birthday and the boys decided we would blog in pink cause she is a girl hehehe.

We gave Chloe some money because we weren't too sure what she wanted.

Nivek was too shy to talk to Chloe on the phone tonight. Lennox on the other hand was full of conversation, but by the end of it he thought Chloe was wishing him a happy birthday and he wanted to know where his presents and cake were. You're a crack up alright boi!!

We chose this photo of Chloe for three reasons....No.1 It is the most recent photo we have of her...No.2 We love that Nanny is in the photo and finally No.3 Mum remembers sitting like that and is pretty sure she can't do that anymore.

In other news Aunty Kylie is 13 weeks preggers now and that means the baby is roughly 8 cm long. But because Uncle Ene is soooo tall we're convinced that their baby must be 12 cm long at least. Lennox thinks the baby will be a boy and we will call him baby Mya(which is Aunty Lynda Mays baby's name). Lennox thinks all babies are called baby Mya. We think that's cute cause we love Mya.....

Poor Veeky

Today we found out that Nivek has chicken pox. He has to have 2 weeks off school and no footy for that long too. He's fairly housebound at the moment because he's very contagious to others. He's getting quite bored and Lennox is annoying him lots.

I rang Nana Diane to find out if I had chicken pox when I was little and she told me a funny story. When Aunty Polly, Uncle Bou and I were little we all got chicken pox at the same time. Aunty Polly thought she was dying from leprosy. Lol. Nivek doesn't think he's dying. He's just stoked that he gets to stay up late because he doesn't have to go to school.
It won't be too long before Lennox catches it too so I'll post more later
