After 17 long weeks on the sideline Veek will be back on the field on the 3rd of August. He's been cleared of his head injury that he got when he fell off the balcony in March. He's very excited. Mum isn't cause now she has to taxi him to training again twice a week.
Lennox will also be back in the pool on the 8th of August after a 6 week winter break. He's not very excited about that, but we have to put those big feet to use I reckon.
Watch this spot for pics in the coming weeks.......

Update
Well we haven't been blogging much because our life is boring and we haven't been taking much pictures of anything.
Veek's just gone back to school this week. After last terms slack report card Dad has offered him an incentive to try harder at school. He only got 1 A on his last report and surprise surprise it was for PE. Not only that but he apparantly has a rotten attitude towards his work and hasn't been handing in his assignments even though Mum and Dad spend hours on the weekend helping him with them. So this term he can earn $200 from Dad if he tries harder and has a better report card to show at the end of it. We do feel a bit sorry for him because he had time off when he fractured his skull and time off to go to NZ. This term no MDO's and more help at home is hopefully the key to better results.
Lennox had no time off during the holidays. He loves going to day care and has made lots of friends. He even got invited to his first bday party so that should be exciting. No more tagging along with Veeks friends, he's finally got his own. Awwww so cute. Next week at day care they getting 10 chicken eggs that will hatch over the 2 weeks that they will be there. The anticipation is killing Lennox. He wants to keep one of them at the end of it but unfortunately they'll probably end up at work with Mum lol.
Both the boys got haircuts today. Veek got a mohawk and tracks and bubba got spikey hair. no pics though......flat batteries:(:(
Both boys also got new shoes this week too. Mum's not sure what they do at school but somehow they need new shoes all the time. Bloody wreckers ggrrrr.
Mum and Dad are losers who go to work and that's it. Life is boring so hopefully we crack the 50 million on Tuesday. Wishful thinking. Dreams are free though peeps.

Nivek recently had his athletics day and carved up again. He came 2nd in 80m sprint and 1st in 200m sprint and 3rd in high jump. Next year he will be old enough to go to the senior district comp if he qualifies, so that is something he's really looking forward to. The school term is nearly over again and Nivek is going to vacation care 2 days a week during the holidays to keep busy. Nivek has also been learning some songs on the guitar. So far he can do the beginning of Nothing else matters and One both songs by Metallica. Dad's very proud lol.
My lil champ Lennox is settling back into school well after our recent trip back home. He had a gardening show at school and came home with a tomato plant or "Plaaant" if you wanna say it like him. He has to water it every second day and put it in the sun. He's a bit upset that it hasn't grown any tomatoes yet but it's still early days. Maybe if he stopped drowning it then it might grow.
Mum is very busy at the mo selling choccies and raffles to help her mate Peka who made the QLD womans rugby side. Mum has also registered to be a red nose day volunteer. She has a crap load of red nose stuff to sell to raise money for SIDS kids and their families. A very good cause as we all know since the loss of our handsome boy Izire. So get behind it whanau, 27th of june buy some red nose stuff okay.
Dad is still the same. Working and looking for a new car. So far no luck. He's not sure whether to get the big car that he wants or a more economical car that's cheaper on gas. Big decisions.
Aunty Kylie has applied for a job with Mum and Dad and should be starting sometime this week. Uncle Ene has gone back to work now too. They're living at our place at the moment and the boys couldn't be happier. Lots of attention for the both of them.
I think that's all our news. So here's some pics from our trip back home

Dad's birthday continued.
So here he is. Dad's big surprise was Uncle Vance coming over for his bday. It's no secret that Dad is very anti social and didn't want to have a big 30th. So Mum thought about it and figured that Dad would just like to hang out with his best mate, jam on the gat, eat kfc and have a smoke. So that's exactly what she organised. We've all been carrying on this lie for months and dad had no idea. He was shocked when he opened his eyes and saw Uncle Vance standing in our house. We were all nervous because Uncle didn't get his passport til the last minute. And we never thought he'd make it past the sniffer dogs. But at the end of the day it was all goodies. They're all having a boys weekend and cruising down the coast to hit the theme parks.Mum had even (sly one) applied for annual leave for Dad that he didn't know about. So even his boss was in on it. So anways no more blackmails from Veek and no more lying for Mum.In other whanau news Uncle Hector got stabbed last saturday at his 22nd birthday party. He was in a coma and had to have surgery. But were pleased to let everyone know that he's out of ICU now and is expected to make a full recovery. He'll be in hospital for ages though. But we're glad that he's all good.
