Nan's trip to Brizzy

Well after a bit of nagging from our regular readers here is our update.....

Nana Diane flew in on Friday 15th of August. She came over to attend the convention and we convinced her to stay a little longer and spend time with us. Nan is the bomb!!She has been cooking all our faves since she's been here. Rhubarb and apple crumble mmmmm yummy.Nan even bought her own apron cause she knew we would want her to cook it up when she got here. Tomorrow she is making rock cakes for Uncle Ene.

Speaking of Uncle he got a tattoo on Tuesday. We think it's awesome.

Veek played his last game of footy vs Beenleigh. They lost 26-28. Was a mean game though. Veek scored 2 tries. Nana Kim came to watch too. We haven't seen her for months so that was cool.

We taped Lennox's swimming but forgot to take pics. Instead you all can look at this pic that Lennox took of himself.

Veeky's return to the game

Nivek was back in action today after a long break from footy. His team were expecting greatness and that's what they got. Veek scored 3 tries. Got 1 conversion and did heaps of tackling. But the best of all were the 2 mammoth hits that he put on. 1 resulting in a boy getting carried off the field never to return. The final score was Carina 28- Wynnum 14. 14 of those points were scored by Nivek alone. Congaratulations Nivek.

Not much is going on in Lennox's world. He got a haircut last week and drove Mum crazy the rest of the time. He's back to swimming next week so that might burn up some of his energy. Veek is attending after school care on Lennox's swimming day so it'll give Lennox and Mum some time alone.

Last month Mums work had a dayshift vs arvo sports day. Mum didn't participate in the netball or touch but did participate in the drinking comp. Mum's theory is that you should stick to the sports you're good at.

This is Mum in the team uniform. Dayshift was called the Brofessionals and arvo were the arvo allstars.

Last but not least the highlight of Mums week was making then eating this lovely fried bread. Sounds like a boring life........and it is!!! But the food is great. Mahi mahi mahi and not much else for Mum.
