Happy new year everyone

Well today is new years day. Again this was a non event for us cause we're saving hard still and going out on new years would've cost too much money. 17 days to go people. We still can't wait.

We don't have any new pics to post cause Uncle Ene has borrowed our camera. Hopefully when he gives it back we'll have nice new pics of Izire to upload. Izire is the bomb. Anywho here's an old pic to laugh at instead

Xmas time

This year we had a fairly quiet xmas cause we're saving all our money for our holiday back home. 22 days and counting for anyone who wanted to know lol. The boys got up really early to open their prezzies and dad missed the bus altogether so we took a few picks so he could see too.

Veek got an i pod, some kustoms, lynx, hair wax, racing car, john cena gear, lego, warriors footy and money. Lennox got 2 sets of blocks, zoingo boingo???, a basketball, a scooter and the simpsons movie. Mum got a pimp cup, grillz, a matching necklace, 2 bottles of perfume and some chocolate. Dad got an all blacks ball that is an alarm clock. It plays the haka when the alarm goes off. He also got a greenstone patu necklace and bob marley dog tags. Dad claimed Veek's john cena stuff cause he's a try hard lmao.

Mum's friend Regina had her baby on xmas day too so we went to see him. His name is Mack and he's a little cutie.
Mum looks really wasted here but she's not. She's just hung as.

Nan and Sam were here

Just a quick little blog to show some pics of Nan and Uncle Sam in Brisvegas. Unfortunately we didn't get any of them with the kids but here's one of them with mum.

Even though they were only here for 4 days it was sooo worth it. We'll see them next month when we head home for our family holiday. 28 days to go. Can't wait. In case I don't blog again before xmas...... Merry xmas to all our whanau and friends where ever you are. We hope you all have a safe and happy xmas and of course lots of food, alcohol and presents.

Being that it is now december, we went to Mum's xmas bbq at the Wynnum Esplanade. Santa was there giving out prezzies to the kids. Veek was laughing because santa was skinny and had runners on.

Lennox got a power ranger dvd and Nivek got a lego set...........wonder how santa knew to get them that????

Later on that night when we got home we put up our xmas tree. This is the first time ever that Mum let the boys decorate all by themselves. Here are a few pics of the boys creating their masterpiece.

Happy birthday Nivek

I know it's a week late but happy birthday to my big sonny boy Nivek who turned 8 last monday. Here's a pic of his birthday cake....

Because Nivek was naughty the week before his birthday he didn't have a party. But he still had a cake and went out for dinner to Sizzlers with Mum, Dad and Lennox.

In other news, Mum has been hanging out with Aunty Frankie a bit lately and here's a pic of them at Mum's friend Paula's hens party.

This blog is a bit of all over the place, but anywho........Uncle Ene, Aunty Kylie and Izire moved into their own whare on the 17th of november. It's just up the road from our place so we still get to see them all the time. Lennox has his own room again now and both boys are happy about that. That's all our news for now????? I think lol.......

Happy birthday Izire

This morning at 4:25 am Uncle Ene and Aunty Kylie had their little bubba. His tentative name is Izire Patrick Te Wake. I forgot to ask because we turned up to the hospital outside visiting hours and the nurse asked us to leave:( :( Anyways we gave our prezzie and left so we didn't get to ask all the impotant questions or take any photos. We've left our camera there for the night so hopefully we'll have some to upload tomorrow. He was 7 pound 8 ounces and 53 cm in length. Too good that baby. Can't wait for him to come home so we can play with him.

Lennox's birthday

Today was Lennox's 4th birthday. We kicked the week off wth a trip to dreamworld on sunday. Lennox was hoping to meet Dora the Explorer and the wiggles but unfortunately we didn't see them. He did get to do heaps of other fun stuff and here's a few pics......

On tuesday night we had a little get together with some friends and family. All the kids ran around playing and we all ate lots of rubbish. Lennox had a transformer cake. It was chocolate mud cake. Mmmmmmm mud cake. Koro Hector and Nana Janet came with Jessie, Aunty Merenia, Aunty Lynda May, Mya, Aunty Abbey and a little girl but we forget her name. Aunty Frankie came with her 2 kids Jordyn and Payton. Kin came with her 3 sons Jacob, Alex and Noah. And Katrina came with her 4 kids Marcello, Jessica, Jordan and Michael. Jaymen (a boy that lives up the road) came over for cake too. Mum was so busy she forgot to take pics of the peeps that were there. But she did get some of Lennox cutting his cake. We'll have to scab some pics off katrina and post them later.Thank you to everyone for their birthday greetings and awesome presents. Lennox had a ball.

P.S for all yall wondering WTF is Lennox wearing???? It's a bumblebee transformer dress up suit. One of his prezzies.

Today Lennox got a birthday present from Chloe and he just wanted to say thank you and show Chloe how cool he looks wearing his present..........

In our house when you love someone we say "love you up to the sky". When Lennox got his present he said he loves Chloe up to the sky and "thank you up to the sky too" lol. In the top pic he's showing his muscles, in the middle he's posing and in the bottom pic he's doing the haka cause he's from "inzealand".

Veeky's trophy day

On sunday(uncle Bou's bday) it was Nivek's trophy day for the 2007 footy season. Nivek got a cool trophy, team photo, action photo and the best part eva was getting a tri nations kiwi league jersey.

All the rest of Niveks team got aussie jumpers but Veek said "no deal" to wearing one of those.

Lennox and Nivek both went to Uncle Tom's for the weekend because Mum went to Stradbroke Island and Dad was supposed to be working lol. Mum loved it at Straddie. So peaceful with no kiddies. Mum's rental house was right by the beach and the dolphins would swim right up to where we were standing.

Mum's birthday.

Last week it was Mums birthday. She got lots of o for orsum prezzies. By far one of the favourite things was Chloes blog. Sooo clever. Aunty and Chloe are always thinking outside the square. Mum was a bit bummed to not be in her early 20's anymore but oh well. All of her presents were thoughtful and just what Mum needed. So a big thanx to everyone mwah mwah xoxox

What's going on this week

This is the 2nd week of the school holidays. Nivek has been at his cousin Caleb's for most of the holidays. Lennox went there for one night too. Mum didn't muck around while they were gone either. She had a dinner with friends and then many beverages too lol. The next day she was so hung but it was worth it to get a night without the kiddies.

This weekend Mum is off to Stradbroke Island with some friends and the boys are going to Uncle Toms. Nivek has got his footy prizegiving on sunday so we'll blog more when we get pics of that.

Aunty Ray Ray's birthday

Recently it was Aunty Ray's birthday. She had a rugby themed party because her party was on the same night as the Bledisloe Cup. Mum bought her an All Blacks birthday cake and kiwi balloons. We got aunty an All Blacks jumper for her present. All the guests had to dress in full footy gears. Mum went as a NSW origin player with her jumper, footy shorts and footy socks. Mum put tape around her head to look authentic but Veek thought she looked like a loser lol. 1. because of the tape around the head and 2. because she wore jandals with the footy socks hahaha. It was the best party. There were lots of teams represented and one girl came as a ref.

It was a girls only party but our mate Damo wanted to come so we made him wear a dress to be a girl. Hence the reason he's wearing a ball gown lol. Good times good times.

Bowling day

Last sunday we were all real bored so we went bowling. Aunty Kylie carved up winning both games. Veeky did well too with consistently good bowls. Mum was disgraceful. Lennox beat her 2 times and she was actually trying to win lol. Afterwards we played the spacies and wasted heaps of money.

August update

Well it's been a while but only cause we didn't have much to say.

Today Veeky played redlands and carved them up 64-14. Veek scored 3 tries and didn't hurt anyone so we were really proud of him. But wait it gets better......The next Carina team that was after us was short 3 players so Veek jumped back on the field and played for them. They carved up even more 68-14 and Veek scored another try. To top off an awesome day of footy, Veek got man of the match!! Veeky your a legend.

Lennox was trying to be good and make friends at the footy but then he spoilt it when a girl swore at him he turned around and spat in her face. She cried so we moved to the other side of the field.

We finally have booked our tickets to come home for Babylon's birthday. We fly into Auckland on the 18th of january and fly out on the 3rd of february. Can't wait for 2008 to roll around.

Long time no blog

Well after nearly a month and constant complaints from our regular readers WE ARE BACK!!

So what's been going on in sunny but freezing Queensland??

Nana Diane surprised us with a lil weekend visit on the 7th of July. She was here for May Kirk's funeral but we enjoyed her being here anyway. Any excuse is a good one when it comes to seeing nan.

Veeky competed in his school athletics day and came first for his age group. Next year he'll be old enough to qualify for the regional comps which will be exciting. He participated in sprints, long jump, high jump, discus and shot put. Here he is with his 1st place ribbon

What else is going on?? Mum and Lennox have had the flu really bad this week. Lennox hasn't been eating much which is a bit of a worry. He stays in bed for most of the day. Soooooo peaceful at our house at the moment lol. Mum still goes to work even though she's sick cause she's a champion who won't admit she's sick cause sickness is for weak people hehehe.

Aunty Kylie found out she's having a baby boy who is due on the 10th of november .........I think. His tentative name is Isaiah Patrick Te Wake. Too good that baby.

We went to watch the warriors play the titans on the 30th of june. Nobody would pose for photos when we got in the stadium but Lennox did let me take this one outside in the carpark.

Too good that Lennox!! Wearing his slippers to the footy and putting a cone on his head lol. That was a good night out anyways. The warriors won 22-6 ..........I think??

Update 06/07

Just a little update on what we've been doing this week. Nivek played Centenary on sunday and he won 36-26. He scored 1 try and it was so mean.......he ran nearly the entire length of the field and outstepped, outran or just plain bowled over everyone in the other team!! Awesome stuff but he was so tired that he had to sub straight off and rest lol.
Lennox went to work with dad on friday so that was exciting. Even though he was only there to swap from dad to mum he still packed his lunch box for his 'smoko' just like dad. When we got home he flopped on the couch all tired and Uncle Ene said,"what's wrong Lennox?" Lennox replied,"Uncle I'm tired I just got home from work". We all cracked up the thought that he was tired after a 20 minute round trip to and from inghams.
We are trying to convince dad to let Nivek go to Perth for the next school holidays. Mum and Nan are working on it.
All the adults in our house have been doing lots of overtime trying to crack that cash before xmas rolls around. This year we'll have 3 more babies to buy for!! Busy little family we have aye lol.
Well that's all my news. We'll try to take some pics next time. School holidays next week so surely there will be something to take pics of.

Crackerjack Carnival

This weekend we went to the crackerjack carnival. On Saturday Veeky had to march in a parade with his footy team through the carnival. Silly Mum forgot the camera so we don't have any pics of that:(

On Sunday we went back there after Veeky's footy game and we remembered the camera this time yay. We all went on the ferris wheel, which was cool cause we could see everyone from up the top. Veeky kept rocking the cage and Mum was freaking out.

Lennox had a ride on a pony or "little horse" lol. The ponys name was Motley but Lennox thought he should be called Jack. Lennox liked that and was sad when his turn was finished.

In other news Veeky played the South Magpies today and thrashed them 58-34. Veeky got 2 tries agan this week and injured 3 players. 2 of which were carried from the field:( Veeky didn't feel sad about that but Mum did. Overall Veek played an awesome game and we were proud of him as usual.

Our busy week

We have been on a mission this week trying to fundraise for Nivek's trip to disneyland in october. Mum has been selling raffles at work and our whole household has been selling cadbury chocolate. You can get a $2 bars of either dairy milk, crunchie, caramello, fruit and nut or top deck. Or for $1 you can get freddo frogs, caramello koalas or white freddos. We also got some natural confectionary snakes and dinosaurs for $2 as well. All up we have 22 boxes to sell and we've started off well selling just about half since friday arvo. I was gonna post pics of the choccies but Lennox has misplaced the camera. So no pics for this whole interesting blog lol.

In other Lennox news he is just about over the chicken pox with only a few non contagious spots left. So that's o for orsum cause we were getting sick of being housebound with him.

Aunty Shona and Lindsay flew in on saturday morning and that was o for orsum too. Unfortunately they only stayed 3 nights as Uncle Justin is having a baby any day now so they had to get back to NZ to see him. More news on that tomorrow because I'm pretty sure the baby is born but I haven't got actual confirmation just yet.

Our washing machine died in the arse on the weekend so we got a new one today. Yay mum says cause the laundromat is overpriced.

Nivek played the Capalaba Warriors on sunday and beat them 26-24. Very close game and Veeky injured 2 kids but we're not that surprised! Too good that future all black.

More baby news tomorrow hopefully.

Poor Lennox!

My poor baby has finally got the chicken pox. Lennox isn't coping as well as Veeky did. He is very feverous and hasn't eaten all day. We tried to bribe him with Mc Donalds but he wasn't budging. He just has apple juice and that's it. He just sleeps mostly and sometimes gets up to watch a bit of cartoons then back off to sleep. He has a doctors appointment tomorrow so we'll update then.

Day at the beach

Today we went to the beach but mum forgot the camera so we having no pics :( . We dug a really big hole and Lennox got in it and we filled it back in. He was covered up to his waist and it was really funny. Sooooo should've had the camera. Veeky caught 3 jellyfish and chased Lennox around with them. That was pretty funny too.
There was a couple on the pier having wedding photos taken. Lennox thought she looked pretty and decided that he wants a girlfriend lol.
On the way home we stopped and got ice cream. That was mum's favourite part of the day cause it's all about the food lol.
I'm not sure what we're doing tomorrow . It's labour day here and mum doesn't wanna sit around and waste it so we'll probably go on another mission somewhere.

Happy Birthday Chloe

Today was Chloe's 7th birthday and the boys decided we would blog in pink cause she is a girl hehehe.

We gave Chloe some money because we weren't too sure what she wanted.

Nivek was too shy to talk to Chloe on the phone tonight. Lennox on the other hand was full of conversation, but by the end of it he thought Chloe was wishing him a happy birthday and he wanted to know where his presents and cake were. You're a crack up alright boi!!

We chose this photo of Chloe for three reasons....No.1 It is the most recent photo we have of her...No.2 We love that Nanny is in the photo and finally No.3 Mum remembers sitting like that and is pretty sure she can't do that anymore.

In other news Aunty Kylie is 13 weeks preggers now and that means the baby is roughly 8 cm long. But because Uncle Ene is soooo tall we're convinced that their baby must be 12 cm long at least. Lennox thinks the baby will be a boy and we will call him baby Mya(which is Aunty Lynda Mays baby's name). Lennox thinks all babies are called baby Mya. We think that's cute cause we love Mya.....

Poor Veeky

Today we found out that Nivek has chicken pox. He has to have 2 weeks off school and no footy for that long too. He's fairly housebound at the moment because he's very contagious to others. He's getting quite bored and Lennox is annoying him lots.

I rang Nana Diane to find out if I had chicken pox when I was little and she told me a funny story. When Aunty Polly, Uncle Bou and I were little we all got chicken pox at the same time. Aunty Polly thought she was dying from leprosy. Lol. Nivek doesn't think he's dying. He's just stoked that he gets to stay up late because he doesn't have to go to school.
It won't be too long before Lennox catches it too so I'll post more later

Hi there

After reading Chloe's blog for months now we finally decided to make our own one. We're not sure how to pimp it out yet but we'll figure it out.....for now we'll just have everything standard lol.

This is Nivek's last week of school then he has 11 days off. Yay for mum cause she doesn't have to make any lunches or do the homework buzz.

Lennox hasn't been up to much lately just the usual......breaking stuff, watching cartoons, pulling faces and eating lol. We're trying to find a hobby for him so he can make some friends and get out of the house. It's hard to find something though cause most pre school activities are in the mornings for good stay at home mums. I'll keep looking.
