September bdays

Here's our bdays for september........

1st- Miss Kerihaehae is turning 6

3rd- Aunty Merenia turns 16 and Veek has his Met East athletics finals

4th- Aunty Merenia's sweet 16 party

6th- Uncle Campbell

7th- Uncle Ene (22), Aunty Anne (49) and Aunty Jan (?)

11th- Aunty Marina......i think.....let me know whanau

19th- Kelz is 35

22nd- Lil Alex is 16

24th- Shazza

27th- Mum is 28 and Phoenix will be 4. We love Phoenix.....sorry Hapu

28th- R.I.P Nan Wrigley

30th- Uncle Alex is 30

Lots has been happening over here. 1st of all our new niecey Kylah-Jane Anahera Pomare was born on the 18th of August. Weighing in at 8 pound 11 ounces and 57 cms long. Congrats Uncle AJ and Aunty Hana.

Nivek's footy team participated in the Shane Webke shield comp on the 22nd of August. They made it into the semis but then got knocked out by Redcliffe. I was a hard slog in th 31 degree heat. So good work boys we're all proud of you. Veek got 3 tries which takes his grand total for the year to 33 i think.

Both boys did well in their spellathon and raised $226 for their school. Well done boys.

Next week Nivek is competing in his shotput finals so hopefully he does well and tries his best. Mum and Dad are stoked to have another day off mahi for this day lol.

Veek carved up at the Lytton Districts athletics day and made it through to the Metropolitian Easts competition for shot put. That's all happening on the 3rd of september so I'll keep you all posted.

Spellathon this week and I was wondering how Lennox was gonna participate seeming as he can't spelll or read much yet. He has to recognise 10 letters of the alphabet for his spellathon effort. Veek has to spell 100 words. Good luck boys.

Dad is on graveyard shift now 10pm -630 and Mum is on 710- 330. Quite different having Dad home at night.
